Continuing her tirade against the Shiv Sena and its leaders, the chief minister Uddhav Thackeray and Sanjay Raut, the film actress Kangana Ranaut asked them on being called “muftkhor” and asserted that she doesn’t need to prove her worth.

In an interview to an English news channel, the Bollywood actress asked what are Uddhav Thackeray and Sanjay Raut’s worth. Let the country decide who’s a muftkhor. “I need to query Uddhav Thackeray that whereas he has inherited Balasaheb Thackeray’s properties, energy, Shiv Sena and folks’ loyalty, they’ve left behind his ideologies. So, who’s muftkhor? I’ve been utilizing my hard-earned cash for the betterment of the nation, the state of Maharashtra and have at all times made donations, how can I be muftkhor?” she asked.

During the interview, she reacted to the remark of “muftkhor.” Bollywood actress stated that she searched the dictionary to know the meaning of the word, and said it means, ‘muftkhor’, one who eats for free. She then went on to say that she is the highest-paid actress and that she has paid Rs 15 to 20-crore as tax. She further stated that she has generated employment for her staff members, for crew members of her films and the people working in theatres when her films release. She says she pays a hefty tax to the Maharashtra Government too to stay and work here, so she is not ‘muftkhor.’

The actress continued, “Who’s muftkhor then? “I informed you that every little thing I earn is being utilised for Maharashtra,” the actress hit back. She went on to query, what Sanjay Raut had contributed to the economic system, including that she needed him to apologize for his remarks.

The war of words began with the actress calling out Mumbai Police and saying she feels scared in Mumbai. The Sena spokesman and Rajya Sena member Raut then asked her to refrain from coming to the city if she feels scared. Later in an interview, the Sena leader even addressed the actress using a derogatory term.

In the interview, she, however, clarified that she didn’t target Mumbai Police, instead, she was talking about the administration of Uddhav Thackeray-led state government. Police were helpless because of the interference of the state power, she further pointed out.

On being asked when will she go back to Mumbai? She says she has been harassed but not silenced. How many mouths will they shut? She will go back to Mumbai and they cannot stop her.
