Mumbai: A program for counting of Lok Sabha election-2019 votes has been organized by the office of the chief election Officer of the state. Senior officers of election commission of India are going to impart the training on Thursday in Goregaon. All the district magistrates and returning officers will be attending the program.

The last phase of election for Lok Sabha- 2019 is going to be held on 19th May -2019. The counting in the entire nation is going to be taken up on 23rd of May. The preparations for counting are on in full swing in the state. As a part of this, the training program has been organized. The method of counting and giving the information about directions given by Election Commission from time to time will be given during the training. The process of how to display the result of counting on electronic voting machines Mock Counting of VVPAT voting, literally counting (hands on training) will be imparted to district magistrates and election returning officers. In turn these DM and RO’s will be giving the training related to counting to their subordinates and employees; this information was given by the Chief Election Officer’s office.
