Nagpur: Lively Rangolis were made outside Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh at Mahal in central Nagpur ahead of foundation stone laying ceremony of Ram Temple on August 05. The Prime Minister Narendra Modi laid the foundation stone of the grand Ram temple while the RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat was the special guest on the occasion.
Several full-time swayamsevaks were watching the live telecast of the “bhoomi pujan” this afternoon at the headquarters and distributed sweets to express their joy.
A huge “Rangoli” that was made outside the headquarters that shows a caricature of Lord Ram and a depiction of the proposed temple. The rangoli was made by artists at the headquarters.
On Monday, the RSS boss Bhagwat left for Ayodhya in Uttar Pradesh after getting a formal invitation from the Ram temple trust to attend the ‘Bhoomi Pujan’ programme by a car. He travelled up to Itarsi by the car and after that, he took a train for Lucknow and later reached Ayodhya.
The much-awaited foundation stone-laying ceremony of the Ram temple in Ayodhya took place amid much fanfare on Wednesday. Prime Minister Modi unveiled a plaque to mark the laying of the foundation stone and also released a commemorative postage stamp on ‘Shree Ram Janmabhoomi Mandir.”
