Mumbai: The Maharashtra Tourism Development Corporation MTDC is going to celebrate the Purnima (full moon) festival with the objective of giving aesthetic experience to tourists, providing them state of art residence and entertaining them. The programs and Literature Fest have been organized at 23 different resorts of MTDC. The Tourist can enjoy the festival on full moon every month said environment minister Mr Jaykumar Rawal.
Lakhs of tourists visit the resorts of MTDC every year. Now on the full moon or Poornima, programs for enhancing the tourist, the cultural and Literature Fest will be organized so that they can get the knowledge of rich culture and heritage of Maharashtra. Similarly, this venture may provide platform to various artists around the state and they can present their art and the rich culture and heritage of the Maharashtra. It will surely help preserve the rich culture in this way. The environment minister will inaugurate the Purnima festival at Tadoba resort on 22nd December. Managing Director of MTDC Abhimanyu Kale, film and theatre director Harish Ithape will also be present on the occasion.
Poet Sandeep Khare, Aruna Dhere, Na Dh Manor and father Francis Dibrito will be presenting their literature before the audiences and depict the beautiful cultural heritage of our . Mr Harish Ithape will be presenting his art in Tadoba on 22nd December 2018, whereas Sandeep Khare will present his literature on 21st January 2019 at Kunkeshwar. Aruna Dhere will be presenting on 19 February 2019 in Panshet and Mr Na Dho. Mahanor will present his literature in Ajanta on 21st March 2019. Father Francis Dibrito will perform on 19th April 2019 at Malshej Ghat and Dr Pankaj Chande will be presenting his literature on 18th of May 2019.
These different artists will be presenting their art and culture in various forms which will revive the cultural heritage. Quality based enthralling and entertaining programs will help pave way to attract the tourist towards Maharashtra, Managing director of MTDC Abhimanyu Kale said that in order to introduce the rich culture and tradition of Maharashtra, the Purnima Mahotsav has been organized at 23 resorts. Due to this festival, various literature formats, folk literature, folklores, folk Art, culture and traditional forms can be encouraged and exhibited before a large number of tourist from widely spread area.
