Yavatmal :- After the terror attack in Pulwama in Kashmir that left 40 CRPF personnel martyred, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said he has given full freedom to the security forces to deal with terrorists and their promoters. “How, when, where and who will punish them the perpetrators of terror will be decided by our forces who are capable of dealing with the situation. “Be patient and trust our Army,” he thundered adding “sacrifice of our soldiers will not go in vain.”
“I country born after India was divided, is today a pauper but also synonymous with global terror. That promoters of terror will be punished, have trust in our security forces’ Modi reiterated.
Virtually launching the BJP’s election campaign for Lok Sabha elections, Modi said the development at an unprecedented pace witnessed in last 4.5 years would not have been possible without the sacrifice of our armed forces. “My government is committed to protect country’s security and sovereignty,” Modi asserted.
The public rally began with offering a minute’s silence by the crowd to the martyred CRPOF personnel of Pulwama. This was followed by an enthusiastic crowd chanting Paskistan murdabad and patriotic slogans seeking revenge for the terror strikes.
“Had you people not given us a strong and unambiguous mandate in 2014, the country would have been stuck in slow progress and slow development. If you want the development at fast pace, all you have to do is to re-elect the BJP,” said Modi signing off the pre-poll event.
Speaking on the occasion, the chief minister Devendra Fadnavis announced a big hike in revolving capital of women SHGs from Rs 60000 to Rs 1 lakh amid loud cheer from the beneficiaries in the large crowd.
He said this was the reward for good work by SHGs in the state and especially in Yavatmal district where repayment rate was 100% of bank loans by the groups.
