Maharashtra Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari today presented Laptops and mementoes to the family members of the Police Officers and Personnel who laid down their lives in the Mumbai Terrorist attacks at Raj Bhavan, Mumbai.
The programme was organized by the Jeevan Jyot Pratishthan on the occasion of the 12th anniversary of the martyrdom of the police officers and police personnel during the attacks.
Speaking on the occasion, the Governor said the city of Mumbai and the country remained safe because of the supreme sacrifices of our police officers and jawans and commandoes of NSG during the terrorist attacks on Mumbai.
Conveying his gratitude to the family members of the martyrs, the Governor expressed the hope that the children of the martyrs will progress in their chosen fields and make the nation proud with their achievements.
Sangamlal Gupta, Member of Parliament from Pratapgarh, Mangal Prabhat Lodha, Member of Maharashtra State Legislature, Murji Patel, President, Jeevan Jyot Pratishthan , Prakash Musle, CEO of the Jeevan Jyot Pratishthan and others were present.
