Congress disrespected Hindus by saying ‘Hindu terror’: PM Modi

PM Modi

Wardha: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday lashed the Congress party for terming “peace-loving Hindus” as terrorists and insulting those who follow the religion.

Launching the BJP-Shiv Sena alliance’s Lok Sabha poll campaign in Maharashtra at a public rally in wardha, Modi said the Congress coined the term ‘Hindu terror’and therfore the community would teach a fitting lesson to the party.

“The Congress has disrespected the community by using the word ‘Hindu terror’. How can a community known for peace, brotherhood and harmony be linked with terrorism? Even the British could not find acts of terror in our 5,000 years of history,” said Modi.

Modi further targeted Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) chief Sharad Pawar Modi said, “he decided not to contest in the Lok Sabha election as he foresaw his defeat. “His own nephew is trying to take control of the party. The Pawar family, which is involved in a feud right now, cannot win this election”.

He claimed that Mr. Pawar’s comments labelling him as the ‘chowkidar of toilet’ are in fact proud moments for him. “If I am being named as a chowkidar of toilet that means I am the chowkidar of pride of women who never had access to toilet and had to go for open defecation,” he said.
