CM Thackeray didn’t disclose 19 houses in his poll affidavits: Somaiya

Kirit Somaiya-CM Uddhav Thackeray

Mumbai : Former Lok Sabha member and senior BJP leader, Kirit Somaiya, who had exposed Rashmi Thackeray and Thackeray family last month by shocking revelation that they had a land transaction with Late Anvay Naik’s family, now alleged that the chief minister Uddhav Thackeray did not disclose 19 houses in his election affidavit.

Earlier, Somaiya claimed that the Thackeray’s bought Land/Houses at Village Korlai in Alibag from Anvay Naik on March 21, 2014, an interior designer, who died by suicide in 2018 after implicating the TV journalist Arnob Goswami. Goswami, Editor-in-Chief of Republic TV, was arrested from his residence last month by the Raigad Police in connection with the 2018 suicide abetment case against him.

Attacking Thackerays, the BJP leader Somaiya said that the chief minister Thackeray didn’t disclose 19 houses in Alibaug in his election Affidavit. “The CM Uddhav Thackeray didn’t disclose 19 Houses of 23,500 Square Feet, Valued at Rs 5.29-Crore in his Election Affidavit,” alleged Somaiya in a tweet on Friday.

While giving the details, Somaiya demanded action against Thackeray. The new revelation would certainly jeopardise the state politics in coming days.
