Mumbai:- The Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis took part in a ‘Swachhta Bharat Abhiyaan,’ at Sion-Koliwada area in Mumbai on Wednesday on the occasion of 150th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi.
While leading the “clean India” driver in the area, the chief minister urged people to keep the country clean. Fadnavis also took to Twitter to pay tribute to Mahatma Gandhi and former Prime Minister Lal Bahadur Shastri on their birth anniversary. October 2 is also the birth day of the second Prime Minister Shashtri.
Speaking on the occasion he said it is that the country is celebrating 150th birth anniversary of the great soul. “India is marching forward with great speed towards fulfilling Bapu’s dreams of rural development, Make In India and Clean India “, he said.
